What is NPC?
National
Panhellenic Conference, founded in 1902, is an umbrella organization
for 26 national and international women's fraternities and sororities.
NPC is a "conference," which means it enacts no legislation except for the conduct of its own meetings. Other than the basic Unanimous Agreements which all groups have voted to observe, NPC recommends and advises, and acts as a court of final appeal in College Panhellenic challenges.
What does NPC do?
As
the premier advocacy and support organization for college and alumnae
Panhellenics, NPC promotes the value of its member groups in
collaboration with members, campuses and communities. NPC holds
individual members and chapters to high standards of academic
excellence, cooperation with universities, personal integrity, health
and safety of members, leadership development and community service.
